Excitement from St Louis conference

Had a great Time in St Louis. Shaklee's conventions are always so exciting. Filled with new science, products, incentives, trips. entertainment, education and so much more.

I love visiting a new city every year
Sightseeing, trying the food & drinks. St. Louis is known for their BBQ. Great pulled pork. Had that twice. Good beer too. Went to the Anheuser-Busch brewery, That was neet. It's amazing how much beer they make and we consume in the US. Got to visit the tasting room. Had the coldest freshest beers you can find. The Arch was cool. The gateway to the west. I always learn a lot when I travel. The Conference was at the America's Center which is home to the St Louis Rams. It was huge. 5000 Shaklee people sitting in a stadium that holds 75,000 people.
It looked like hardly anyone was there. I also got to have lunch with a childhood friend of mine Lori. We have not seen each other in 28 years. She lives in St. Louis and she picked me up and we did BBQ lunch and talked for 4 hours. We reconnected on facebook. How neet is that?

My Room at the Renaissance St. Louis Grand was fabulous. I could see the Mississippi river from my room as well as the city.

The centerpiece of this Global Conference so far was the unveiling of FastTrack, which is both a system for seeing the mechanics of how to build a Shaklee business quickly and systematically, and also a new set of significant milestone bonuses that are now an incorporated part of the compensation plan. Who couldn't use an extra$34,000.00 and 4 trips all expense paid in their life?

Don't forget Shaklee's Get Clean Non toxic cleaners are now in the White House as well as the Vice President's residence. How cool is that?

The last big news in my opinion were three new clinical studies that we will be hearing about much more about in the coming weeks. Here is a quick review:

SUNY Buffalo study of the impact of Vivix on Nrf2, in the paraphrased words of Dr. Carsten Smidt, "the mother of all anti-aging genetic regulators". The placebo controlled study involved health adults eating, according to Dr. Smidt, "an insulting 910 calorie typical junk food breakfast laden with fat, carbohydratel, and a little bit of protein" and watching the impact on Nrf2 activity. With the "food" alone, Nrf2 activity was totally flat to declining over five hours. The same meal eaten with a serving of Vivix created a massive spike of Nrf2 activity after several hours, with a significantly elevated, protective level maintained after five hours. This study apparently supports a new paradigm that anti-aging genetic regulators can be stimulated to have a profound effect immediately, rather than over time, as previously thought.

The second study involved a new method for determining how much vitamin D is required in the form of supplementation to bring Vitamin D levels into the optimal range. This study was presented by Shaklee at a major conference in May, and was so well received, that it was published last week with no changes in the Journal of Lipidology, the most prominent scientific publication in that field.

The third study is really astounding. Shaklee teamed with Dr. Ann Moscona of Cornell, one of the nation's leading virologists. The result of that research was an entirely new technique, the Human Airway Epithelial model, for studying the activity of viruses. Phase II of the study involved using that model to study the impact of Nutriferon on viral activity. The stunning result was that Nutriferon was found to be a potent up-regulator of Natural Killer Cells, which are specific white blood cells that target tumor cells and cells infected by pathogens like viruses. What a finding in the time of H1N1 flu and continued concern about cancer.

There was so much more, but these are the highlights so far.

Be careful of what's under your sink!

This would not happen with Shaklee's Get Clean. That's all I use.
